DES Post Placement Support and Active Support

I’ve been researching Post Placement Support and can’t find any real evidence of real post placement support that incorporates any of the evidence based Active Support methodology. It starts me wondering if Post Placement Support is being given the importance that it requires or for that matter whether staff really have any training or idea of what it should be. I know from my experience with DES that it doesn’t look like it should. What’s your experience and understanding.
